Aisha Raun in Temple Studio

Beautiful @aisharaun was kind enough to share her #ritualswithtemple and we are so excited to share it with you! When she is not reading or sourcing jewelry to add to her amazing collection, she can be found at NAMI San Francisco, as a resource coordinator, ensuring that community members have easy access to mental health resources to improve their daily lives. We were curious to know in which ways she likes to improve her own daily life and asked her some questions regarding her morning routine. And of course, we started with the most important one:

How do you like your morning coffee?
“I like to have a simple coffee using my keurig and a sweet creamer!”

In what way does a slow morning do you good?
“A slow morning gives me the opportunity to wake up without rushing myself or feeling chaotic getting ready for the day. when i start my morning slowly, I rid myself of feeling anxious, and instead I feel refreshed, confident, and excited!”

Where do you buy/get your jewelry from?
“I get my jewelry from a bunch of different places! This includes thrifting, instagram businesses, outdoor markets, local businesses, etc.”

Do you use journaling prompts or do you write freely?
“I usually write freely by documenting either what has happened recently in my life or what I’ve been generally feeling to reflect. Sometimes I also write down motivating and positive affirmations to uplift my thoughts and mindset.”

Which one of your current reads would you recommend to a friend?
“I would recommend “the midnight library” to a friend. The story is about a young woman that is unsure about her life path but goes on a journey to figure it out.”

How did wearing your Temple Studio pieces make you feel?
“Wearing temple studio made me feel cozy and confident. As a larger sized woman, sometimes I find it uncomfortable to wear lingerie, but this set was so comfortable and soft, as well as empowering and a result, I can wear it as a staple in every day wear.”
